Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Review

Good morning my beautiful internet fans,

Recently, I purchased a red lip color from Revlon at my local Walgreens for $4.20 (with the 40% off sale and I had $2 rewards). It was my first time trying their lip colors. It's called the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm.

Color is called : 240 Striking Spectaculaire

A swatch on my forearm

As you can tell, it's not too pigmented for my skin type.

But, with many layers of build-up on my lips, this is what it looks like (forced smile, haha)

With a complete look. What do you think? Comment below.

When I started to apply it onto my lips, there was a little minty sensation. However, it will go away in about 15 minutes. It smells minty too.

My thoughts on this product: Umm... I thought it would be a little more pigmented for my skin tone. However, with many layers, it will look more pigmented. It does transfer a little onto a cup when you are drinking water.
Like I said, this is my first first trying out a Revlon Lip Product. Maybe there are better lip products from their line. I will have to try them out. BTW, it does not dry out my lips. It feels pretty moist.

My skin routine

Hello my beautiful people,

How was everyone's weekend? I hope everyone was able to get some vitamin D (sun) in their system.
I just wanted to shared my skin care routine.

These are the products that I use. From left to right
  1. Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Night
    • This product really un-wrinkles my face, especially with my expression lines
  2. Clinique, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
    • A must, especially if you have oily to normal skin. This does not clog my pores and it is really light on the skin
  3. Fresh, Soy Face Cleanser
    • I can not tell you too much about it yet because I have not used it enough
  4. Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Turbo
    • OMG! This is my favorite! It makes my skin SUPER soft and it tightens my face.
  5. Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Eye
    • This is a prevention cream for my under eyes wrinkles. Love it.
You will notice that I use a lot of "un-wrinkle" product. Due to the amount of sun light that I am absorbing, it's a BIG must for me to use these products. I work until the sun about 20 hours week and it does not include having fun in the sun too. I have used these products (except Fresh, Soy Face Cleanser) for 5 months now. I love how much my skin has not changed (except being tanner).

Here are the steps on applying my skin care routine
  1. Wash face with Soy Face Cleanser
  2. Dry face
  3. Gently using my fourth finger to pat on the Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Eye until my eyes
  4. Then use the Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Night onto my Expression Lines
  5. Pat the Peter Thomas Roth, Un-Wrinkle Turbo (like a massage to the face)
  6. Wait for it to dry
  7. Lastly, put on the Clinique Moisturizer
I know! Lots of steps, but I got to take care of my skin to age slowly.

Well, take care everyone!

Just remember, always be yourself

Small Clothing Haul

Hello my beautiful people!

How is everyone's summer (or winter if you are in the southern hemisphere)? I hope everyone is doing wonderfully and beautifully. Now onto my tiny clothing haul.

I bought these three pieces of clothing not too long ago. Summer is about to end in about a month. All of these items were on sale.

This shirt is from H&M. Retailed price $17.95. Purchased price $11.95
It's a sheer pink top with black flower petals. However, from a far
distance, it might look like a cow shirt. But whatever, I love it!

High waisted shorts from Urban Outfitters. It's light orange and has pockets
They had their semi annual sale sometimelast month.
Retailed price 19 something? Bought them for $4.95
I was never interested in high waist shorts because they were very uncomfortable at my waist.
However, these shorts are so comfortable and affordable. Why not try them out!?

Last but not least, lilac purple shorts from Athleta. Retailed price $59.00
Got them for $23.95. This store barely has sales. Last month they had their semi
annual sale. I love these shorts because they are stylish and comfortable.
It's great for me when I am teaching tennis all day. :)

That's all for today. Thank you for stopping by.
Just remember, always be yourself.
